Long ago wood would come from great trees, some say they were many dwarves up in height.

Now dwarfkind has to relegate itself to the porous, vile shroomwood. Even when cut it squirms and brings forth spores.

Carving said "wood" is said to be a way to usurp control and mold the shroom to your will. Shroomcutters through their prolonged exposure to this material have learned the craft of axe whittling (While holding a single log, and an axe in your active hand, (Focus) + on what you want to carve).
